Wednesday, February 10, 2016 marked a historic day here at Acme. We celebrated the launch of Acme Radio (yes; we have a radio station) in our usual over-the-top Acme fashion. Nashville Mayor Megan Barry, legendary songwriter JD Souther, Grammy-nominated producer Dave Cobb, and up-and-coming performing artist Brent Cobb rocked the Acme Radio studio and stage for this momentous occasion.
Acme radio is the self-funded, unfiltered lifestyle voice that reflects the real Music City. Like the Acme Feed & Seed stage, it gives a platform to those artists who don’t necessarily fit the Music Row profile by showcasing all genres of music and broadcasting them on the airwaves worldwide. A long time in the making, this concept gives Acme Feed & Seed a platform to bring the greatest Music City has to offer to listeners worldwide. Just like Nashville, Acme Radio is about more than just music – from wellness to food to football and everything in between, Acme Radio will also host unique lifestyle programming that harnesses the entrepreneurial spirit of Music City, without extraneous pressures or the need for political correctness.
